When you field strip a GP-100, the cylinder will remain attached to the crane. You have to push a release plunger then remove the front latch pivot pin before you can separate the cylinder from the crane. SP101 cylinders do not have the ball bearings so once you remove the trigger assembly, it will release the cylinder so it will just pull off the crane assembly.
